Home-built Solid State Relay.

This Solid state relay was designed to operate a 120VAC inline duct booster. The required input signal to the relay is the standard 24VAC from a conventional heating and air conditioning system.

I built this solid state relay to replace a failing mechanical relay that was powering an inline duct booster.

I used an optical isolator and input resistors used to protect the control voltage source in the air handler.
